Social and Environmental Responsibility

Fuzza Trade is concerned with effective action on socio-environmental causes and supports several institutions in the region. Meet some of them:

Soluplasti + Fuzza Trade

Together with Soluplasti, Fuzza Trade operates in the recycling market, selling recycled and virgin plastic resins.

Recycled resins play an important socioeconomic role in environmental preservation, since, in addition to providing direct and indirect jobs, they also contribute to the environment. The manufacturing process helps to recycle materials that would take years for their natural degradation, and when reused, recycled thermoplastic resins can be part of new products.

The idealization of the project arose from the desire to serve others. On 05/30/19, several Christians met together with Father Clayton (member of Canção Nova) for a moment of sharing. Touched by the love of God, they decided to meet guided with a single purpose: to serve others with love. The idea was to spread this feeling of solidarity ahead by providing lunchboxes every Wednesday of the year to the poorest communities in Rio Claro.

With almost two years of operation, the project has already delivered more than 36,782 thousand lunch boxes, accounting for a total of 24 tons of food.

GACC – Rio Claro

The GACC was founded and legally constituted as a non-profit organization on July 26, 1996.

In the late 1980s, volunteers from the Vila Paulista neighborhood met annually over three days to hold a street party, where they prepared and sold various dishes, such as couscous, pastel and hot dogs. All the income obtained was destined to the Cancer Fight Network. For about five years, volunteers organized this event. After this period, the group decided to direct its efforts to fight childhood and juvenile cancer, because at that time there was no adequate support for this public in the municipality.

At the beginning of activities at the new headquarters, the volunteers delivered basic food baskets to the homes of registered families. In addition, the Institution had some beds in case any patient needed to stay.

Over the years, the GACC has expanded its services and has become a reference in helping children, young people and adolescents diagnosed with cancer or chronic hematological diseases in Rio Claro and the micro-region.

Currently, the Institution assists 79 patients and their families, offering the necessary support for coping with the disease and reconstructing their histories free of charge.

Fuzza Trade has been part of this history since 2005, which was the year in which the partnership with the GACC began. We act effectively in volunteer work and supporting campaigns organized by the institution; we believe in the power of empathy and solidarity.
